Smells like New Years Day was up here. There's nothing like bidons full of water at 45 deg

I see ... beach volleyball?

[edit] nope, that's not until OZ Day

"Thursday January 26th 2006 Vodafone State Beach Volleyball Challenge at Nobby's Beach. All Welcome. Mens and Womens pairs"

Hmmmm... might have to slip away from the clutches of my wife and children and wander down for a peep :)

I surf the web like a drunk: stagger, stumble, crawl, crawl...

jock 01-20-06 03:53 AM

I give up. What's the weather supposed to be like on the weekend Expat?

Brian 01-20-06 04:03 AM

I have to wash my car before I (hopefully) deliver it to a buyer on Sundee. Was hoping you could tell me if it's going to rain. Oh well. I'll wash it tomorrow morning.

jock 01-20-06 05:42 AM

you're kiddin, right?

Make sure you use gloss lipstick!

looks like Gerrans has sown up the TDU.

I am not sure how well endowed he is Ed, but he sure has a fine set of balls. Sanchez is very strong.

I think he will win a tour that bloke.

Flak 01-21-06 03:22 PM

I have a quiz for Expat. After a few years in aus lets see how much he's learned.

http://smartasses.org/aussiequiz.html

As for my results -

You got 20 answers right.
You got 0 answers wrong.

You're a bottler, mate!
You are a fair dinkum, ridgy didge, dinky die, true blue, dyed-in-the-wool Ocker-like strine speaker. Well bugger me, you could probably even play a didgeridoo and know the proper way to twirl a billy. Goodonya. Get us another stubbie while you're up, will ya... and have one yourself while you're at it!

Might be in America, but havent lost my touch :)

Brian 01-21-06 05:56 PM

Bludy 'ell! I thought I would have done a wee bit better. But my score's fair dinkum:

You got 16 answers right.
You got 4 answers wrong.

You'll be apples! Well... nearly anyway.
You will communicate fairly effectively with the native population, but they will still mutter "bloody yank" when you walk out of the pub.

Bluddy 'ell's good but *She'll* be apples!

The bikes apart! Thanks Expat for the extractor. After the crank arms came off, the rest of the bike came apart in about 2 minutes.

Any suggestions on a colour?

Brian 01-21-06 11:43 PM

Banana boy would say yellow, Jock would say blue or red, Tiger (if he hasn't been consumed by a Thylacine) would say orange or pink, (it's the new black!) and Climbo would probably suggest black. White with silk-screened roses? :D Flat black? Desert camo? I'd probably go with blue, as an obscure nod to an equally obscure children's book writer named Leonard Kessler.

mrkott3r 01-22-06 01:05 AM

i was thinking cream for that old school look. But I will have to do something with the stem then
