I didn't take a picture, but I got something similar - a 2" long nail or similar - on Whiskey Hill this afternoon. Luckily, a spare tube and a CO2 cartridge and I was back on the road.

TV quit working, something in the power supply is kicking off a circuit breaker or some form of self-protection. Rather than take it apart I think we will buy a new one. They're all smart now, I assume, and I know nothing about them. Full HD or 4K? Will it work with the existing router we have for Wi Fi? Will it work with the cable box? I heard some won't.
Trying to do a little research but thought y'all might have some insight.

And this has me wondering….My Paramount is a 62 with a 40mm stem. The Trek is a 61 with a 60 mm stem. In this configuration they each fit me like kid gloves.

I'm all for other people buying new bikes. I like shiny new bikes and want to live vicariously. These days my bike fund $$ goes to keeping vintage bikes going. After all, while a new bike will be undoubtedly be much better than my current bikes, the rideable vintage ones do ride nicely and are not holding my fat carcass back. After all if I ride them more often I'll get fitter.

A lot of things are better on the best coast. you should try it
funny, I've been wanting to watch this again too, it's been a while. The Princess Bride has also been crossing my mind a lot lately.

Question for Indy. A recent Warm Showers guest, from Italy, arrived in Matamoros yesterday. She is heading to Ottawa, Canada. Doesn’t want to buy Adventure Cycling type maps. What other resources are out there for downloading cycling friendly routes?

These witch doctors crack me up. This morning I get an email from mine summarizing lab results. On paper some markers have improved, but I still have plenty of inflammation.
He ends it thusly:

Why is he asking me? He's the "expert." We just had a consultation last week. SMH

She could search RWGPS, but that sounds like a lot of work to save some money. And their maps contain a wealth of information, including free or cheap camping places, so they can sometimes pay for themselves, especially with camping being relatively expensive these days. And more and more private campgrounds are converting to RV-only places to generate more revenue.
