Zipp SLC2, that was the deepest drop bars I could find at the time about 6 years ago. Have two of them. Been moving them from bike to bike ever since.

Are the drops actually comfortable angled like that? Seems to me that Deda Newton Deep would have as much effective drop, but provide a much better wrist angle.

As a fellow Merlin rider, I really like this. As a fellow Campy rider, I really like this. As some one who used those Scott drop-in bars in about 1991, I really like this.

As a result of spinal stenosis I cannot bend over very far and come at the bars from a slight upward angle, this puts the bottom of the drops perfectly in-line with my wrists and is very comfortable. I never ride in the front of the drops, it's just not a good spot and because of my forced more upright posture I hit the ergo part of the bars with a wrist twist that is unnatural.

So since I only ride on top, on the hoods, or on the bottom of the drops, the angles seem perfect.

I am in love. This is hotter than my girlfriend

All hot, except the bars. But I think the stem is perfect.

How do you like that saddle? I've been trying to get my hands on one to put on my Holdsworth I'm refurbishing to be like-new.

I've just tested it for 450 km during my holiday in France and I'm convinced. The saddle is quite large and extremely comfortable (well, I do have a big butt). Planning to switch the saddles on my other two bikes to C17 too.

I had those drop-in bars in the old part bins for the past two decades after using them from 1991 to 1995. Fell in love again, the shape of the drops is perfect for me and I actually used the extensions during a long descent which was quite comfy. But I intend to use them as a platform for a GoPro camera.

Hey WheresWaldo - can you change your avatar? You're making me want to play Fallout and it's not even the dead of winter. When's that Boston shiz coming out, anyway?

I'm actually playing it again, This is like my 3rd time through. Just finished Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light (Metro: Redux for the XBox One). Hoping there really is a Fallout 4.

That merlin is begging for some traditional drops, although I admit it's hard not to love it regardless.

We can overlook the crank positioning and at least Jens got the wheels lined up.

But, really Jens, BF expects more!

It'll be less Not, once Jens sets the new hour record.

Jens' bike just looks odd. If you read the description of it, it sounds like they hacked a bunch of parts to make a fixed gear bike. They should have done better custom work. He deserves better. Those wheels just look ridiculous in my opinion - it looks like they have a machined sidewall for brakes on a bike that has no brakes. Why?
