I see full Dura Ace 9000, Fulcrum Racing Zero wheels with Schwalbe One tires, Ritchey WCS C220 stem (120 mm?), Ritchey Superlogic Logic II handlebar, factory seatpost, Astute Skycarb SR saddle. China direct cages maybe? Not sure about bar tape and cables/housings.

I think it unlikely to get under 12 lbs w/ 1300g wheels.

+1. Also with straight Dura Ace including cranks. It seems unlikely to get it under 12 pounds with what I can see but what do I know. :)

Seriously, how is this standing?

There's a few photo tricks to achieve this - including the photoshop cloning tool. :)

the barebones stock version of that with ultegra is supposed to be around 15.6lbs and thats with some boat anchors attached and a 54.

that frame looks tiny assuming even a 50T chainring... so maybe a 52 or 50?

I don't know man - sub 12 is pretty special even by today's standards. Not saying it ain't so just curious how this bike got there. :)

Sweet bike. Under 12lbs is a significant WW achievement. Not quite sure how you did it.

Perhaps he is saying that it would be easy to build it to 12lb+(under 13lbs) bike, not that he has actually built the bike to be that light.

Sub 12 pounds is rare, but possible. It's impossible as shown.

Probably the easiest build to get to sub 12lbs even with Stages pm

Weighed how? As shown, or sans pedals, cages and computer?

I agree. I have done a pretty good job to get the Chinabike down to 12.75 sans pedals, cages, Pit Stop and computer. And that is with 999 g wheels, 255 g tubular tires, Red shifting, alloy crank spindle and Zero Gravity Ti brake calipers. If he is weighing as shown, he really means sub-12 lb, the wheels weigh 1,300 g, even with Red except for the crank and a 225 g lighter frame and fork, there is just no way. He would be searching to cut way more than 500 g from the small stuff. I don't see how. Even if he is weighing "showroom", it would be a bit of a stretch.

Hey Robert - why don't you weigh your bike like a normal person? With pedals and cages, without your computer or Pit Stop or extra tubular.

I bet it's pretty close to my bike, which was likely the first generation of your mold.

Sweet bikes all... although most are a bit speedy for this old dude, doesn't mean I can't remember back when I ripped around on my Bianci Super Leggero (64cm, full Campy, 180mm crank arms, awesome Celeste green ride). Many happy miles!

HOT! I love the look of these LIV WSD bikes. My wife has the Avail Advanced Pro. It has Ultegra 6800 with hydraulic disc. Instead of pink and orange accents, hers has purple, red, and white. I wish it wasn't too small for me to ride!

Turbo Cottons are too great a tire to care about gumwall or not.
