Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fark. Just found a deep cut in my p3r tires. Put a copious amount of electrical tape on the inside so I can race them this weekend, but it's time for some new race tires.

damn you pcad, a TT sunday? I was hoping to see you at the crit in piscataway on sat. I figured it was a nice middle ground between us. I think you should race both days! If I don't crash this year I should be done my 10 races by late July early Aug then we can race cat 4 together pcad! (races are hard to come by when you are not willing to travel more than 75 min)

PS For all VVs talk I think he would be slaughtered in a race, esp given this group ride report. At least coasting is humble.

Looks like tomorrow's morning ride isn't happening. Friend bummed me into going to his house tonight, and then going into the district tomorrow and mtbing around. Fun, but not good training. No garmin today either.

how expensive is a single nipple? $3 tops?

Pcad spelling is for silly Liberal arts majors...way overrated.

Off to my rutgers race. Hopfully the college boys 60lbs less than me have been as lax with training as I have. Of course they haven't been building decks.

I just got back from the prelude. 3 of us. 2 of them taking turns to beat the crap out of me. We tried your technique of me hanging on the back and yelling. It worked ok until a gap opened up (actually it happened quite often towards the end) and they charged off missing a turn and i couldnt yell loud enough. Have you ever tried yelling with your lungs pushing up into your throat?

excellent ride. I feel great. I need to ride this hard more often.
