Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: Velo Volmobile

It's too bad BikeForums doesn't allow sockpuppets.

I could set up another account, wow everyone with my witty and insightful posts, and then surprise all my new fans with my real identity.

"Vuzuzela's suck..when they keep you up all night......The Dutch were robbed by the referee's the Spaniards had better actors, .....soccer sucks." - near quote, Bob Roll on his rest day during the TdF coverage.

I appreciate his candor.

I view this thread like the lead peloton on a major TdF climb. It's important to keep Pcad, the 41 Team Leader, at the front of the race. His minions (Gomer, etc.) do the pulling, while Pcad sits in with one team mate behind him (probably that idiot kid Razor).

What kind of analogy has a fat ass like pcad climbing well? This makes no sense.

Edit: you can say "fat ass", but if you remove the space it gets censored. Huh.

Have yute guys seen this angle of Armstrong's stage 8 crashy. First 5 seconds of the video is him skidding on his back, followed shortly by the peloton going by at 60kph. Pretty freggin' amazing he got up and went up the hill.

I'm going on a solo breakaway unless my demands are met.

Why does CNN have a segment entitled "Forgetting Haiti"? Why the all the fuss?

Come someday before August 14th. Everyone besides like 10 Cat 1s and 2s get dropped.

You know anything about the GVCC? I'm thinking of joining since I get a free membership since I'm a junior.

This could be the first thread that pCad could leave and it wouldn't die.

I think they should remane this to "41 Foo" just as they should rename that silly 33 twitty thing to "33 Foo"
