Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You're not watching enough of the Tour if you're asking such silly questions.

Just spent 11 hours in the car. That was awful.

Maybe pcad should answer this one:

How did I consume about 3x as much high calorie food as I usually do on vacation, but when I got home and checked my weight, I'm down to 151 from 153?

What town razor? We will scour the classifieds looking for a job! Work at the cafeteria of the school, the kids that go there never do that.

I wore 29" pants when I was your age kid. I was 5'11.5", 135 lbs when I graduated high school. If I ever get below 160 now, they'll put me on an intravenous and rush me to Mt. Sinai. That's not fat junior. That's manly muculature right there.

It's starting to look a bit 98lb. weaklingish @ <170 lbs I'm afraid. Oh well. I'll still beat you all @ arm wrestling. Like botto rightly points out, I start looking like American Chopper's Senior after a gastric bypass.

Oh, I'm a Fred alright, but I'm faster than half the Cat 4's, most of the 5's, almost all of the girls, and I can hang with the Road Nazis long enough to annoy them. I give something back to the sport by helping to sponsor a successful local race team.

That's good enough for me. I don't require anybody else's approval as long as my dog loves me.

I'm skinnier now than I was in that picture.

Uh-oh.

How does USA cycling know about the 10 races that one does to upgrade to a 4? I see my race a few days ago is not listed on completed events on my usa cycling page.
