I don't like silver tape. It gives off the impression that you're trying too hard. Like the CF tape.

Pics would help.

I did a social night ride last month. But it was only 11 miles, and the road was closed to traffic.

The only provision I had to make was adding my weak headlight so I didn't run off the road.

Did you stop and unclip three times?

Red tape, because it'll make you faster.

Silver tape would be too much. I'd stick with black.

What difference? Yes, my eyes were stinging and it was getting difficult to see.

patentcad 07-22-10 10:37 AM

Hey Gomer, for you to ride that fast, you have to be doping.

How do you respond to these scandalous allegations?

coasting 07-22-10 10:49 AM

so he was riding at the 23 mph level? I wonder if that is real or with BF hyper-inflation

nice looking bike by the way. i think with that grey and black you can go with any colour as long as there is a match with the tyres. bikes like yours are tastefully understated so you can express your own style onto it.

Tulex 07-22-10 11:04 AM

pCad, you seem to be in a good mood. Is Mrs. pCad smiling too?

Tulex 07-22-10 11:06 AM

I think duct tape is the perfect color, and cheap. Actually, a color that matches the silver/gray of the bike would look good, though I like black for my contact points.

Tulex 07-22-10 11:07 AM

Never been a fan of that kind of spoking.

Tulex 07-22-10 11:08 AM

By the way, elitists are aholes.

I'll sure I'll stick with black. Silver is the only other feasible option (in my mind). I just have to figure out what kind to get.

The loop isn't "flat" to the extent that you can dial in on a constant rhythm and hammer away for several minutes. It's hard to find that anywhere around here.

coasting 07-22-10 11:11 AM

is it teribly fredly of me to add another patch of duct tape to my saddle?

i finally emptied my bag from the bike weekend i went on and found that I had been collecting freebies of energy gels/drinks powders and it all came to 25 packs. I'm almost ashamed.

How exactly? Be specific. Name names.

Extra bonus points if you then take that post and dump it into the 33 Twitter Feed thread.

I agree. You are actually full of good information.

coasting 07-22-10 11:15 AM

it seems so wrong to get rid of a totally comfy saddle just because the surface has been ripped and scuffed from the enormous amount of mileage done on it.
