Considering the 10 4's cranks downgraded between 2011 and 2012, perhaps the company's trying to save a bit of money? I dunno. The price went up between those two years as well.

It's a nice carbon crank though. It's the same one used on the quark power meters.

I do not like the rest - IMO, with that change in color from front to back, they look unbalanced. (I think this year's colors look better.)

I think the 2012 murdered out black looks WAY better than the 2013 black w/ weird gold...

I think a SRAM Red option would be better than Di2 at the top.

And note that the Di2 is Ultegra, and not Dura Ace.

I'd take Dura Ace over SRAM Red, but agree that either one of them should be on the menu.

It depends on what you want. He pretty much builds anything. Pick your parts or go with his recommendations. His prices have been competitive.

I also just noticed none of the models have hollow gram cranks available either. One of the things I dislike about cannondale is their use of second their components even on their high end bikes. An "ultimate" model with an FSA crank and Tektro brakes doesn't sound too ultimate to me.

As for the higher groupset spec CAAD10, maybe they weren't selling a lot of them because most people spending that kind of money were probably considering the Evo instead? A lot of people find it cheaper to buy the lower spec complete bike, sell off the parts, and put on the parts of their choice.

Crank is sweet. I wish the chainrings were black. Get some Praxis chainrings and a black/silver chain.

Works fine. Will upgrade the rest as I can but for now no issues so no real need.

Yeah, the old red black was nice but figured I go with the newest as that's what I'll most likely be getting as I go forward. A black or silver chain might have looked better but that's what I have. I think the gold would look better on all black rings.
