Ditto. Found mine 60% off too, which was great.

Bell Sweep. Nothing great. One thing is for certain. Quality control at Bell is not what it used to be.

Apologies for the poor quality photo, I don't have a garage door. 2013 CAAD10 Force. Just over a week old.

Out of curiosity, decided to install some Pro4 Service Course 700x25's on the CAAD. Prior to, I ran GP4000s 700x23's. Not sure if its all due to the the wider tire, but I can feel quite the difference. Only took a quick test ride on them. On the crap roads near me, it felt great. I may very well be a wide tire convert now.

The last three CAAD10s posted are all beautiful. The Gulf Color scheme has grown on me. I love the uniqueness of it.

We need more 2013 CAAD10s with Force (and that color scheme). Great stuff.

That's so funny - I ride the same bike and have the same helmet. Love all things Cannondale.

Rudy Project Sterling. Pretty sharp and can usually be had for a reasonable price.

Where'd you get yours at a reasonable price?

I browse their site every now and then. In the market for a new helmet, and heavily considering the Rudy Project Sterling. I also would like to give their sunglasses a shot.

Still trying to tweak my setup just right. I think I'll be moving another one or two spacers to the top pretty soon. Water bottle cages arrived as well. I'll try to get some pictures soon.

I got a discount through promotive, but I see coupon codes all the time on slowtwitch. Then you order directly from e-Rudy.com

george, you're making a big mistake going with a caad9 over a caad10, just fyi.

Well I spoke with a cannondale dealer today who told me that cannondales are no more produced in the USA anymore since 2009-2010 but either in Taiwan or China. The American made Cannondales are recognizable with American Flag on the top tube with written "Handmade in USA." Maybe new frames are lighter, but the older frames have a better finish of the welds and were really well made. Does Cannondale still use Alcoa tubing?

lineinthewater 04-07-13 10:39 AM

Does anyone know the typical weight difference between the different sized CAAD10 frames? Like between 54, 56, 58? Just curious.

Nagrom_ 04-07-13 11:11 AM

I don't know specifics, but my anodized 58 weighs 1150g with headset, hanger, and seat post clamp.

dleccord 04-07-13 03:24 PM

i wouldnt buy the caad9 for the usa logo. the caad10 was pretty close to the low end supersix models (non-hi-mod material) in terms of bb and front end stiffness. but then again i was riding an 07 caad9 frame which didnt have the bb30 at the time and non tapered fork.

welds not as smooth? give me a break.
