I stumbled across a Trek dealer a couple of weeks ago and all their employees were pretty cool, I'll have to go back and see if they have a demo program. If they do, I will ask specifically about the Paradigm. Thanks.

Hello all,
Here is my new CAAD10 3, just picked it up a few weeks ago, and already love it, I have changed the handlebars to 3t ergonova pros, I love these bars, as well as a 3t arx team stealth stem, 3t dorico team stealth seatpost as well as a bontrager paradigm. Also I am using ultegra carbon pedals. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...x/image-10.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...rx/image-7.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...rx/image-8.jpg Let me know what you think! Nice bike! same as mine and boommcnasty. I'm looking to change my seatpost also to zero set back. hows the dorico? im thinking of going with the thompson masterpiece or the 3T Dorico Team. Enjoy your ride. |

Where am I going to save the most weight? I have switched out the wheels which took off a pound. This is a 2012 CAAD10-5. I'm guessing the crank and groupset would be next, but I don't want to upgrade until anything wears out. I am pretty sure the stock seatpost is carbon wrapped aluminum, which must be pretty heavy. Any suggestions? Just got it to 17.9 pounds including the light, cages, pedals, and the computer mount. |

No complaints on the CAAD thus far. It's my first new road bike and they fitted me on a 54.
There's no comparison to the '91 Diamondback Master TG that I came from (dad's old bike). He's 6'4", I'm 5'11"! |

If not, I'd look at replacing it for a more comfy saddle that weighs less as well. You'll be more comfortable as well as shed a few grams. Serious weight weenies shed the spacers and cut the steerer fork to save some grams as well. It's a free way of saving grams, although you need to make sure your body is up for it! |

The difference in weight was approximately 60grams in favour of the lighter SL-K 'post - which was looong and uncut. |

Laugh of the day....wow...did your kid do that or did you just do it as a joke? My six year old would do something like that.

Jeez I'm still in high school, no kids yet! My friends had some foam letters left over so... Why not eh?

Sky has a development squad for pre-teens? Who knew.

With new RS80's. Nice and lively wheels that spin forever.
Such an awesome bike. Makes me smile every time I ride. Thought about a new bike, but opted for the wheels. Glad I did. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=314707 |
