Here as well. The white tape will eventually go since I've already turned part of it black

Stupid question, what's the difference between SiSL2 and the Si? Is the SL2 just lighter? If so, how much?

Edit: Nevermind...

Just pulled the trigger on a 2013 caad10 with 105 -- for 1,200 dollars.
Can't wait for it to arrive!

Nice!!! I think that C,dale frame has to be painted all matte black or black-green.

bceagle12 10-26-13 07:51 PM

So sweet, looks like my 2013 Force racing, but way cooler. Love the paint job on the shifters, looks like what Peter Sagan would have if he had a CAAD.

Now I'm interested, I test rode the bike back to back with a 2014 Robaix SL4 and the CAAD10 outperformed the Specialized by far and it was my first Di2 ride ever which I loved. I'm not 100% sold on the color scheme though? I really like the matte black frame but I could do without the gold graphics. I quoted the post above from johnnytheboy because that's the bike I'm looking at and it looks sick with those wheels on it!!! In my Carbon testing, I like the Madone 4.3 and Scott CR1, both felt really good on test rides and come in between $400 & $600 less respectively. Not real sure what I'm looking to hear from you guys but maybe a push into the Cannondale so I can go lock it in on Monday?

What drop bars are those? I've seen a couple of those on here I'm interested because tthey seem like a
a more comfortable position when riding in tthe drops.

This is a beautiful bike.

In the end you have to make the decision yourself. Which bike do you enjoy riding the most? Go with whatever you feel most comfortable on, enjoy the handling/acceleration from, and you prefer the aesthetics of. For me the only carbon bikes I'd rather have are $5k+, so I'll stick with my alum CAAD10 :). In all honesty, if I were to only ever buy one bike in my life, a CAAD10 would more than meet all of my needs. However, I wouldn't be surprised if I pick up a cool carbon bike at some point, .. coz n+1 :D

I'm not sure where you can get a DI2 bike either carbon or aluminum for $2300. That is a killer deal. I jumped on the di2 when I saw it for $2800 and you're getting a much better price.

Hi All - My wheels arrived yesterday. Just put the tubes and tyres on -

RIM = H Plus Son Archetype in Black
SPOKES = Sapim Laser - 28R/24F - 2 cross
HUBS = White Industries T11
TUBES = Conti Race 28
TYRES = Conti GP4000s 700x23mm

My CAAD10 has been inbound for the past 4 weeks. Am told it will come any day now.
If anyone is running Archetypes or any other 23mm wide rims with 23mm tyres - what pressure should be pumped at for smooth pristine cycling roads/tracks? I used to pump my old rs10 wheels to 100psi. these seem to be very solid at 80psi!
any thoughts?

will put pics up when i attach them to the bike this week (hopefully)
I hope that i can notice a difference with these on. I have a buyer for the stock Mavic Aksiums straight away.

How much is the weight on the built wheels?

dvdslw 10-27-13 09:02 PM

Tomorrow I'm going to put some cash down on the 2013 Black Inc., it seems to be the best bike for my budget. It is however available with two different wheel sets. I can get either the Mavic Ksyrium Elite S WTS or Ultegra 6700's. I like the look of the Shimano wheels but the Mavics are a bit lighter. Any thoughts on which wheel set is a better choice? I don't plan to keep them on the bike but they'll get me by til Santa comes to town!

Hack - i don't have accurate scales at all, but i would assume 1600g possibly? when i take delivery of the bike, i will see if the LBS has any decent scales

CAAD 10-2 Force Racing Edition. Not everyone's preferred graphics/color, but it's a sweet bike nonetheless. It weighs in at 17.0 lbs with Look pedals and 2 bottle cages.

Pinkbullet3 10-28-13 07:17 PM

Is there a word on brake calipers between SRAM and Shimano, or is it just personal preference? I'm looking to replace the stock R580s for either Rival or 105 brakes, if new brakes would even make a difference. Maybe I should just start with the pads first. Any pad recommendations?
