Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

OMG, I've been by those. So seedy sounding. There's a small chain here with HUGE porno mag selections that should steal the Kum & Go moniker

They're going with a milder innuendo, though. They're called Peterson's.

I need to go bar shopping. Now that I've tried bars that have flat ramps I must have them. My 3Ts ramp down drastically. If I rotate them up so the ramps are flat I feel like I'm gonna just slide right off when I'm in the drops though.

For some reason I'm picturing bullhorns on rj's Scwhinn. Maybe I've been hanging out in Portland too long

Maybe I'm just secretly wanting bullhorns and barcons on the Pinarello

They're silver paint(?), but close enough. Especially since they were only $23 bucks and will be mostly covered with tape.

It used to have moustache bars and bar-end shifters.

that's a good paint scheme for the project.

What game is this you speak of?

If figured since he singled out how disgustingly angry he was with me that I was to blame but the lifetime network suggestions were getting to be too much. Some smitten paralegal bouncing around on his arm might have been a good transitional stage for him.

Okey dokey, since hockey aint exactly the negro leagues nowadays it must be basketball and hockey playoff time. It very well could have been code for intrigues on here.

I think I made the dual mistakes of reminding her about work and the fact that it was keeping her from riding. After the thread about meeting gators on the roadway I would be scared to ride at night but I suspect she is rightfully concerned about less squat predators.

I guess the owners of Kum & Go are quite open about having such intentions when they named the business. At one point they approached the good people at In & Out about combining their respective businesses at some locations. In & Out is not fond of ulterior interpretations to their brand and quite publicly told them no.

My local favorites are The Village Pumper and as mentioned earlier in the thread, The Munch Box. I think Makel wins for most blatantly distasteful.

I'm having a post-ride Swedish meatball sandwich with gravy (the traditional cream sauce) and provolone. Thought you'd like to know.
