Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

who's the boss?

that's a lot of riding in 3 days. Good for you, wish I had the time for that amount of riding. I can show you what I know but I'm not much of a teacher... maybe if we do a few rides you may pick up on something but I have no idea what makes me a good climber except that I'm skinny and light and I train on a single speed bike most of the time. I guess that is in line with "heavy gears".

I haven't got much time this week, I have things on most days and nights already. Next week would be OK for something (preferably AM for me), just not Wed, that's Track day. PM me and we can work something out.

AUD$37.28 for 5 of them. Might be getting a heap of other ***** from them, so shipping shouldn't knock me around to bad.

Sacco has got me curious: are these tyres exactly the same?

If so, can we really buy them from O.S. for about $38, or is there severe import costs?

Yes and yes. Tyres are dirt cheap O/S.

Although the new import tariff drops migh tchange things slightly.

Not really (~140-150) coz Bobbin Head is a pretty short ride, but the intensity is getting up there! Intervals and hill sprints begin shortly. Oh the inhumanity....

if you're just getting 5 then the total will be $200. That's well under the amount that they could be bothered chasing up (normally kicks in at ~$500, unless you have a red flag against your name). Freight is usually the killer, but at just over 1kg and small package it shouldn't be more than $25 for 4-10day shipping

Anyone interested in my opinion? Ah well........

It's joke that Gilchrist doesn't bat at #6 all the time, and that we don't have 5 bowlers all the time.
We should be exploiting Gilchrist while we have him.

Warne
Kasprowicz

MacGill 12th, and occasionally changed for one of the quicks, depending on form and pitch conditions
