Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: 8 bikes - one for each day of the week!

Take a look. The game was fixed (quietly whistling...)

Go to cyclingnews.com mate.....photos and A-grade results (U23s race in A-grade, which is actually B-grade if you think about it!!) Sme good shots of the new Lotto jersey on Henk, Robbie, Gatesy...nice new Ridley Damocles bikes too.

Very sneaky.....deleting a post prior to mine so as to make me fall one short.

(Gets onto bike and leaves the scene......with the shift into 53-11 he is gone! [warp drive sound effects])

Wherever you choose, but for best results do not sit in the middle.

Yes, nice white Ridley's , I like the black better but who's complaining, it's a sweet looking machine. Plenty of colour in them jerseys to say the least, Robbie has the yellow and green added in places too.

Just not enough detail in those results yet, looking for those placing outside the top 10, I'll go back for a look for full results tonight.

All three of them...Gates, Vogels and McEwen have been the Australian road champion, entitling them to wear the green and gold bands.

I didn't think Vogels bothered with them on his jersey, with Navigators I didn't notice any on him. He does now I suppose because they all are on the same team together.

Yup, and its called "How was that commute today?"

And even worserer, it's still the biggest at 7000+ posts. Oh well, I guess that means we'll have to dribble on for a bit longer.

not even close, over 7,000 posts there. I just had a squiz, how boring... everyone just posts how far they commuted and what the weather was like, no actual cycling or even cricket is discussed.

PS. Commuted 45 minutes today, no idea how far it is to Woy Woy, 20 kms? (my computer has no wires, it's really just a clock I don't need, I have a watch), weather was warm, traffic was light, train ride I slept for 30 minutes.....oh wait, am I boring you yet.....

I wouldn't bother. It's like Dawn of the Dead in that thread. They don't read the posts, they just add to the mess.

Thankyou linesmen. Thankyou ballboys. I cannot resist the urge to go and complete a nasty set of intervals any longer. I hope it's rediculously hot and windy outside. Until tomorrow...
