Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

"Beach Rd boys" and "bike skills" shouldn't be in the same sentence....

Naw, I'm still using my mountainbike shoes on the roadie, so I've still got a long way to go before I'm a complete wånker.

I actually designed the original updated TFM jersey and logo...still got one of the jerseys gathering dust in a draw somewhere.

The purple and black one Adrian insisted I race in if I wanted gear at cost + 10%?? Still got it at home....I reckon my arm would just get through the neckhole.

depends on the deal.....a 'nice' looking kit will see it get worn more often than is 'required'!. My 'deal' only requires 'open' races, a few 'pamphleting' exercises of cars at some races.....& for that I get......hey wait a minute...wat do i get?....i needs me a new manager!...any takers?.......10% of sweet FA isn't much!

I noticed that a while ago -- what's the deal? Is that for the cobbles?

I have a 20mm Grand Prix on my Kervello, and there's only about 7mm clearance.

Correcto....longer w/base equals more shock absorbance = smoother ride. Time made some P-R one-off frames for QSD this year too.

Anyone old enough to remember Steve Bauer's Eddy Merckx chopper from the early 90s (maybe 93 or 94) that was a classic!!
