Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Actually, one question I do have is how you can spray the underside of the seat when it's down...Is it blow back, or is the there 'spin' put on it so it bends around , or does it come out at impossible angles due to the pressure build up? Seriously, I'd like to know.

I wrote my thesis on this. It's similar to the "how does any 'stuff' get right up on the
lid without it ever getting on my clothes" query.

After 8 years research, and subsequent analysis of the compiled data,
including incorporation of chi-squared test and the two-tailed probability table,
we were able to conclude, with a >95% level of confidence, that the poo
does shoot out at seemingly extraordinary angles.

Ok, I'll change the subject with a serious question.

How the fuk do you keep your clear glasses clean? It drives me fukn nuts because I often ride at night, and I can never see!!

Is it because I buy any old cheap clears?

I have a pair of Rudy Project (clear) glasses and I have never had a problem. They don't fog, and moisture rolls straight off them.

Bikes: how long have you got?

G'day,

I'm a fan of really el cheapo ridin' glasses...cos I'm the original klutz & keep breakin' 'em....whilst I haven't quite stooped to 'safety glasses' yet.....If they made 'em look just a little less like a doofus.......anyway, I haven't had a problem with 'em foggin'...just slide 'em down the nose if they do!.....However, on the subject d'jour....poohing.....my extensive research has concluded that wattsey suffers from the condition known as 'Bugle Arse'.....

I have no idea

"Back in my day........."...........

....they didn't even have licenses (1987/88). When I went back for another season in 1992, the guy said: "have you got a license?" I said: "yeah, I suppose", paid my 5 bucks, and joined the race. I didn't know what he was talking about.
