Trying to decided on my ride this morning. Today and tomorrow will be ~15° at typical ride times, which means that I'd need to swing by the LBS for some shoe covers and maybe a thicker pair of gloves. Then again, the 10-day forecast looks like spring-ish conditions are around the corner for real this time. Do I spend $120 on two rides and then pack the stuff away 'til Nov or just slog it on the trainer for the weekend? Bah. Humbug.

Watch out for asploding wheels. You may need to watch from the safety of a sofa cushion fortress.

Continuous rain today in Houston, and I have already taken the trainer wheel off the Merlin. Too much trouble to put it back on. I think I will fool around with the dumbbells and floor exercises.
I don't covet riches for the most part, but I do sometimes think how nice some dedicated hobby rooms would be. E.g. home gym and bicycle workshop. I'm not talking about in the garage, but real, fully functional interior rooms air conditioned and properly furnished. The ability to leave equipment and projects set up. Sigh!

He seems none the worse for wear this morning. I, on the other hand, am dragging ass and in need of quantities of espresso that should have WADA knocking down my door. While I was stripping his bed, he (and his puke pail) fell asleep in my bed. He looked comfy, so rather than move him or squeeze in, I slept (fitfully) in his bed instead.

But you have to save the jpeg to a third-party site, right. You can't post from your own computer any more. Or can you?

Wut? For what possible reason? The furthest I go is to make sure the speed sensor magnet is across from the valve stem, but that is about it.

In our case the radiation was both effective and quite tolerable. Mrs. rpen had no complaints about it whatsoever.

My daughter got a call from the day care center at about 3:00 yesterday that the youngest granddaughter had 102°F fever. That caused cancellation of some evening family plans, but there has been no trace of any fever since that one observation. Kids are very strange that way.

Nor did you answer mine.
But no. I wasn't a "tattler" by any stretch of the meaning, and to be honest, that word was never in my vocabulary until right now.
Answer my question. Do lawyers call witnesses "5th grade tattlers" now? If that's the case, and in the case I witnessed, I guess that shoe would fit. It's also a shoe I'll wear again, if I were to be asked. I will also "rat off" texters, and other distracted killers that I share the road with.
What have you done lately?
