Very nice - that paint job is much nicer than you described it. It fits the wheels nicely.

The person I bought these from bought them in conjuction with a complete bike from a local msngr - and the rims appear to be hand-repainted. I would strip them, but that to me is akin to erasing great literature. everything has a story...somewhere. |

Too bad cuz the black non-machined (black sidewall) would be awesome looking though with black spokes and hubs. |

I bet if you found a nice bike shop in your area you'd have a good part time job fixing those things and selling them online. Oh damn, there I go on another capitalist rant. Seriously though, nice job.

Retrofit complete. Posted previously in near-original state. Added Nash bars, Modolo stem, cheater brake lever, bag, fender, seat, wheels. Fun ride! I could sell off the rest of the fleet and be happy.

Not my bike, but plenty of porn to look at.

Bummer, I didn't see any of my friends who were in attendance in those pictures.

I was almost in a few of 'em. Frustrating, I tell ya.

I've always wondered why those long fed ex boxes seem to be the stock "challenge" piece that participants carry in messenger competitions. I hardly ever see messengers with those; it's usually gigantic boxes on their handlebars I see when it comes to oversized packages.

They're awkward and you can get free shipping materials from FedEx. Same reason you use USPS mailers for these events.

Those FedEx/UPS giant tubes are the worst to carry. I'd take a 10 ream box on the bars over one of those any day. That's just me though.
