I LOVE THIS BIKE!! BRILLIANT!

...and I also hate it when people repost pics, but holy money shot, this is sweet! List of priorities has changed.

1. 650c FREEwheeled singlespeed for surgical maneuvers.
2.Ti Cyclcross frame left in the raw with Ti Spork tack welded to head-tube.
3.Girlfriend
4.career

What originally caught my eye was the fast back seat post binder. Just like the one on my powder blue Eisentraut (Mmmmm...). It's kinda funny. I thought the ZicZac was some kinda 60+cm frame due to the tall head tube and smaller looking wheels. Nay way, pilgrim, It's a mid-size with small wheels! Sweet!

Im changing out the bottom bracket tonight for a 107 insted of the 110 since im riding it with the BMX cranks. Some people have given me flack for putting them on but I seem to like the BMX cranks on the big aluminum frames.. maybe its just me.. im a little crazy :P

There is a guy in the city that has an old Somac track frame with a full campy buildup for $750.00 (campy hubs, headset,cranks,chainring,seatpost,etc..... ) Its got nice lugs and everything.. Wonder how I could hide it from my wife...

How does the fetish ride so far? I see their frames on eBay all the time and I like the look and pricepoint but there was a thread here awhile ago that slammed their welds and all-around quality. Fetish imports these frames from Taiwan, is that right? And they are very similar to the Leader frames too, from what I recall. I have never ridden aluminium before and was hoping you can give me some insight into the ride, thanks.

This job cost $2 for a roll of sticky vinyl, and one evening... and i get to have chrome stays with any color break line i want. If i want the chorme back i can just peel away.

Brilliant!

So far I havnt had any problems with the fetish frame. Like all aluminum frames, its not as quite as a steel frame but it rides solid. They are made in Taiwan. I think this frame has a mixture between a Leader and The fuji track pro. (im sure they are built in the same factory. The welds look exactly the same.)
I also like the fact that it is lite as hell. I work on a 3rd floor and live on a 3rd floor, I don't like to carry any anchors up 3flights of stairs.

I do rep. work for this company and order these frames every few weeks and they sell for $200.00 including shipping. If anyone ever wants to check out what they look like, I ride mine to work in chinatown everyday. Feel free to stop in and check it out.

Ooooooooooooooooooookay. Which is your favourite to ride? I have a special spot in my heart for GTs as it was a Karokoram that was my first real bicycle. How does the GT ride? Stiff? Amazing collection.

gh-ap 09-13-05 06:26 PM

yeh, thass th nicest lookin gt i've ever seen

chrisj 09-13-05 06:38 PM

muccapazza - I know what you mean, they used to match - but I had to hop a curb to avoid danger one time...

adamkell - old mavic timetrial bullhorns / Aerowing TT.

jet sanchez - i'd have to say the KHS / Co-Motion then Serotta and then GT. I mean I love to ride them all. The GT is a fun fun bike to ride, but its not as comfortable as the others.

thnx gh-ap

benny 09-13-05 06:51 PM

SEROTTA all the way!!

eMwolB 09-13-05 07:30 PM

I am biased because I have an Aero, so I'll say the KHS (see the "Ideas?" thread), but the Comotion is a very close second!

gregg 09-13-05 08:10 PM

True Temper aero seat tubes are tastey.

Fugazi Dave 09-13-05 08:21 PM

chrisj - I am going to start sleeping on your couch and riding your bikes. You have been warned.

Ostentatious fixie collection for the win.

BostonFixed 09-13-05 09:05 PM

Didn't you already post those bikes?
