it's actually really comfortable. i rode them as risers, and just didn't like the upright feel. i flipped them, and i was much happier. in the long run, i'll probably randomly switch between them and track drops for the good of my wrists (see that "why is everyone using drops?" thread and the ergonomics discussion there), but that setup is hardly uncomfortable.
edit: but i do want to chop about an inch off each end. |
[QUOTE=Shiznaz]I apologize in advance for the image spam. I got the motivation to photograph all my bikes today, so here they are:

okay, i have a question...a bike with similar bars was on the fgg recently. and we all thought "holy wow, those bars are insane". where the hell did you find those? those are loooooong.
anyway, just personally curious. happy riding! |
gotta be these, check out the weird bump in the middle...
|
Chucks bikes has 'em just not branded ritchey. Ergo something or other. I bought them and cut off at the first ergo bend for super short length bullhorns.
|
they're ritchey prologue bars.
|
that black citane is real nice.

http://immute.net/~chrise/gallery/al...e/DSC_0029.jpg Finally finished my new bike - not too sure about the cinelli stem on there, but everything else is fantastic. It rides so well! |
nice^^

crazy crimped tubes!
|
Tasteful road conversion. The stem almost goes with the Colnago-style tubing..

Swap it out pronto! |
-1 for NDS photos!
that frame wants a quill. |
ok, i'm running at about 90% disapproval of the cinelli stem - I'll probably look around for something else that I like. And yeah, I know it should be a quill. heh.
sorry for the non-drive shot - it turned out better than the drive side, so I went with it. I'll get out somewhere scenic this weekend and get some good shots, including the drive side. |
Cinelli Alters rule. I like it.
