it's not so much that...a bianchi pista just isn't a snappy "race" looking bike. and as i wouldn't be riding it on the track but once or twice a week (at least for a while), the function of an aerospoke is diminished. though i can always swap it out on sundays. i dunno. they cost a bunch, so i'm sure i won't have to worry about it for a while.

Thats awesome that they are atleast considering doing a fixed rear aerospoke, without the back, i've been holding out on their set, but if they do in fact introduce it, i'll definetly pick up a set.

boroSS 07-08-06 10:06 PM

on the topic of aerospoke...my aerospoke clad SS:

humancongereel 07-08-06 11:46 PM

that's alot like my new (and first) fixed gear. i started mine with an 83 trek 400. it's such a fun project. did you use the original crankset with the smaller chainwheel? that's what i did, but i kept the larger chainwheel and put a 13t cog in the back. it starts and stops pretty slow, but i like how fast i can get on it! congrats on your new ride!
