Today I got a response from my alderman to a letter I sent about cycling safety in my ward. I'm feeling kinda geeked out about being involved in the betterment of my neighborhood, even if all I did was complain a bit. (Ok, a lot.) But I am hopeful that things will get better for cyclists around here.

Today I watched soccer at work (plants don't grow fast enough), watched more soccer at the gym, put a new seat on my janky SS MTB, then while testing it out saw this next to my place and stole the sqrls camera to shoot it.

Looks like it fits the bill. I thought the handlebars were RB-021's at first glance and was a bit confused on $70 handlebars with everything else being "cheaper" stuff. Do you know the overall cost of it? Seems like it'd be under $500.

Ha! Adding up all the parts at individual retail prices comes out to $922. As a complete bike, it sold for $785.

You should put up pictures of bikes you sell up on the wall in your shop. Or more easily, put up photos on your RETROGRESSION blog.

Today I snapped my chain while delivering (on road biek thank god). Whipped into the front derailleur and ****ed it up pretty bad. Now to start the slow move to Ultegra.
