I often use my stock Twenty when I ride with my daughters who both ride similar three speeds... if I ride the P20 tourer I usually idle in the very high teens and it makes it hard for them to keep up as their cruising speed is about 13 mph.

They are tiny little girls so the wind resistance does not affect them nearly as much and you can't draft either of them... :D

They got back together the same day ATDI did.

Today, the wind damn near killed me. Seriously. Pushed me left into traffic. **** sucked.

Got in touch with some guy on the pace line forum about his DA crank, ring, and BB.

The last guy flaked on him. So I'm getting a 7710 with less than 50 miles on it for 250. That is, if he doesn't mind waiting until the 21st.

I hope to god he doesn't mind waiting.

Today I ghost rode my $15 Novara Aspen 5 miles back to the shop. My right arm is soooo sore right now. Did a quick once over on it. Needed saddle, 2 tires, 1 rim strip, one tube patch, 1 chain. Everything else is good. Saddle, rim strip, patch and chain taken care of already. Tomorrow morning the singlespeeding will be taken care of. I love frames made of Tange MTB way to much.

Nagrom_ 06-18-12 07:27 PM

soon.... I shall have the world's nicest kilo TT...

got the build list finalized. I think. Wheelset is the only thing that might need more consideration.

Today I had the car in the shop to get an issue in the front end fixed. Once done, I went and got in a street ride.

Tomorrow: Have to press in new bearings for the rear wheel on the 930, discovered that they were shot yesterday.

Today I got my new wheels! Swapped the tires and tubes over, and they are noticeably lighter than my old set up. They also spin buttery smooth. Can't wait to get to the shop tomorrow to swap my cog over and get them out on the road for a test. I'm also considering having them overhaul my bb or just buy a new crankset/bb because the squeaking/creaking has just slowly gotten worse and worse.

I did that once. Let my ex GF use my Neflix account credentials being that up to 2 devices can use the same account at the same time. What's the harm, right?

It took me 6 months to re-teach the Netflix recommendation engine. She watched the weirdest stuff.

The recommendation engine is pretty good when it works. But, 5-Star the wrong movie and you are hosed. I 5-starred "Amélie" once (I liked the photography and mood) and got bombarded with love stories.

His right; it's a great movie. Great musical score as well.

Went on a date with my daughters and saw Bicycle Dreams, a film about RAAM and while my oldest was bored to sleep my youngest was completely stoked with the stories of the people who participate in this event.

All she wanted to talk about afterwards was when she could take out her road bike and she had the hammer down all the way home... She was riding her folder and was cruising at close to 20 mph.

She is a monster on the bike and just kept it in top gear and stood and hammered on climbs and amazed my friend who was riding with us...

When she gets her form on that racing bike I am doomed.

I just saw my friend Jimmy (same guy that had a PK Ripper with Sugino 75's and platforms) riding his bmx rig (24" DK General Lee) with no brakes and a fw down Chicago city streets while drunk with no helmet or lights. I have a feeling I'll be going to another funeral soon... I hate being this pessimistic about it, and I feel ****ty about calling out the helmet since I don't wear one, but that's just stupid.

When she woke up today all she wanted to talk about was the RAAM movie and whether or not I or my business partner (ex pro) could do it and then started talking about setting out her own training route...

This kid has the fire inside her for sure and have been talking to my friends about getting her out on the track for some laps.
