Today I:
today i touring biked to work and got off early for track racing.
still not placed into cat 5 though, one more beginner week
really funny thing is the track gave me a loaner front which i needed because my gatorskin is chunking...
i got done with all the racing and looked at my bike and realized they gave me a 650c and i raced it without even really thinking to check. my god, it was twitchy.

I gotta get me SSD in the ThinkPad, and max out the RAM.
Today I made it downtown on the brakeless SS. More downhill coming this way so I definitely had the flow.

Today I'm happy it's Friday and the weekend is shaping up to be pretty righteous bike weather, 81F/82F for the highs. And now here it is, your moment of Zen...

today i discovered an amazing looking road in SF that i must ride if i ever end up going back there, via this video:

that road looks so awesomeeeee
Hawk Hill (you have to climb this to get to that road) is AWESOME though (https://app.strva.com/rides/8341048). Fantastic views in the evening/morning/whenever.
A must-ride if you find yourself in SF.
fear makes things fun
id still love to see it even if i crapped out
idunno what i would bring if i was in sf, i dont think i could hack it on my FG there, i remember years ago being in the car with my parents feeling like i was going vertically uphill sometimes

I ride my cinelli all over the city, you can do it. 49x18 gets me up just about anything (you can ride around most of the really bad hills).
Yesterday I got my ass kicked in Sprints at Masters Nationals. I rode an 11.5" flying 200M and only qualified 10th. I finished 10th overall.
I hit +1,850W and +42mph in my first sprint...and still lost by 1/2 a bike length.

Chin up man. You went and competed and (presumably) gave it everything you had. No shame in that.
42+ mph on a bicycle is a huge win in my book. That must have felt awesome!

Today I saw this at work, looks pretty sweet!

I can average 1,200W for 23 seconds. For 2 seconds it's 1,800W.
Winning isn't everything man, the numbers you put up are more than enough to be happy with.
