Happy day Jandro!
Today I am still trying to catch the rapha rising challenge so I did the quickest elevation gain road near me.

Yesterday was the same and the day before was wicked hard. The air disappears so fast over 8k elevation my legs were screaming.

Happy Day of Birth, Jandro!
Today, I dodged rain drops on the way home. Dusty, oily roads in Phoenix aren't so fun on skinny tires. Today was the first day I ever hit the brakes on wet pavement and had a bit of a balance check.

Today I bought some LOOK mondrian logo bottles. Only to find out while rinsing them that they're specialized purist bottles. So much for my boycott of Specialized "stores" and products.

I do not agree with their contractual product placement and franchise policies and practices.
Having a background in business, it's a superb and ingenious business strategy but I am all for fair and healthy competition with incentive to R&D (on all sides) and competition which benefit everybody including the consumer. And not having to drive some-odd 20 miles to the remaining sidi dealer because your former which was only 5 blocks away became a "specialized LBS".
Some examples:
https://www.bicycleretailer.com/north...s#.UebG242PvT8
They also disenfranchise LBS's without much warning, preferring to franchise a "nicer" LBS over older ones to better "fit" their brand image.
In addition to that considering that they offer in house financing to LBS accounts when they disenfranchise a bike shop they expect their money back immediately with a side of lawyers. Such a thing actually happened to a larger bike shop in San Diego:

thats pretty ****ed up, i had no idea
guess thats why its so hard to find my purist bottles online
however a couple weeks ago i was in a shop thats a giant dealer, and they had purist bottles for sale. i wonder if it has to do with volume or particular products
