Just started reading this thread. I write every darn thing that goes into my mouth in a journal to be analyzed (I don't keep track of the calories etc). Here is today so far:
6:10 am - 2 eggs, 4 oz egg whites, 2 strips turkey bacon, 2 slices whole wheat toast
8:50 - 1 cup fat free yogurt, 1/4 c peanuts
9:50 - 2 oz cheese
11:00 - 2 chicken breasts, 1 cup of brown rice
and the rest of the day?
1:00 - Muscle Milk Light, Peanut butter sandwich
3:30 - plate of salad, can of tuna
6:00 - 6 oz beef, asparagus, salad
8:30 - protein shake made with fat free milk, 1 tbsp of peanut butter

The term foodie, or OCP, is reflicted.
for the record, I couldn't care less about salmon or salmon lox, but I enjoy linguistics, so the word interested me.

My father used to live in Paris, CA. I've visited Paris, TX. I hear there is also a Paris, NY. I've never been to Paris, France.

Duder, I get it. But I was just curious about the word as I'd never heard it before.

What strikes me as funny as well is that absorbtion isn't a word, instead it's absorption.

I love when the dining hall has feta cheese at the salad bar. For lunch today I had a big salad with lots of delicious toppigs, oil an vinegar, and some grilled chicken on the side. Tasty, nutritious, and light.

Yum, I love Feta. I hated it until I went to Turkey, and now it's one of my favorites, though I don't eat much cheese in general.

Lunch today was chili with brown rice: onion, garlic, carrots, zucchini, yellow squash, corn, tomatoes, eggplant, kidney beans, chickpeas, white beans, mustard, stock, and spices.

Somehow I had room for it even after my epic breakfast. Good thing I didn't mention that my oatmeal was breakfast #3 for the day...yikes...where can I find the 'you know you're still too fat for this sport when...' thread?

Meatless "chili" is really just a vegetable stew.

Agreed. I just like to pretend that I cook different stuff all the time, rather than "every vegetable I can find, with varying spices."

lol. It was a pretty big salad and a healthy amount of chicken, so it probably wasn't that low calorie. I'm already hungry again though, so I'm eating a banana and some "Total" cereal.

I am assuming that you really are trying to put on 20 pounds from other posts. Do you keep a food journal?
