Latest addition to the tool collection: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/s...ock/index.html
Hopefully, it'll come in handy during future ss cx/xc adventures. |

Is Dangerous Dans Diner worth a visit? I've still never made it over there. |

Oh, and apparently there's a Campagnolo one, too. |

We had one collecting dust on a shelf. I think QBP distributes them (don't quote me on that, though). Most places market them toward touring cyclists but if the tool works well it should come in handy for at-the-trailhead ss gearing changes too. We shall see ...

Brad, I can't remember ... but is your *cough* beater a singlespeed or geared?
|
You mean L'il Hauler? It was SS once upon a time but now it's got a 48-38 on the front and 11-21 7sp on the back. Why do you ask?
|
I meant the actual mountain bike. Just curious.
Okay, time to go to the bank and try to get a $15k line of credit. WEE! |
Nah, the mountain bike is your typical (for the time I guess) 3X8
A SS mtb is on my wish list though (along with many, many other bikes) |

I'm heading downtown later today, anywhere I can drop it for you? Most likely hitting Manic Coffee, someone there you know?

That's wicked, thank you so much! If you put it in an envelope with my name on it and ask to leave it behind the counter for me that would be perfect. I know all but one person there so chances are someone I'll know will be working. ;) You can tell them the coffee is on me, too!

Cool book idea, thanks for the link Brad.
Sprints tonight? I've got that ride up to 400/7 tomorrow, but I'll still drop by on the way west tonight if it's on like donkey kong. |
Hey, steeker's in it! Nice.

For anyone who is interested at all fixed trick riding - check this and let me know if you're interested! |
Hey look at that, I found this place again. Man I miss it here. Stupid non-bike life.
Anywho... As it stands, sprints are on - despite my saying to Will earlier they were not happening due to the awful weather we were supposed to be in the middle of. However, that being said I will try and post an update on here - and msg the Facebook group - before 8pm with my final answer. And on that note, we're also working on a ****e weather contingency that could possibly take the shape of a bimonthly indoor event. This is of course pending some logistical issues that some of you may receive somewhat cryptic pm/email/phone call/etc's regarding. I assure you, this is not on purpose so much as my style of running with a project that is a somewhat of an incomplete thought, but so far so good :D |
bimonthly? that means every 2 months..? :)
