I lost my rear blinkie on the way home. I'm pretty sure the guy behind me ran over it deliberately... |

Since the weather is so nice tonight I'm staying in to build a bike. Can't decide if it will be a s/s mtb for the winter, or geared with dirt drops. |

That too. Devils chocolate sounds good. Choc cake made with coffee is sexier than your almond legs.

I've really been enjoying my current setup (front light on the shoulder strap of my backpack ... basically where my clavical is, rear light on the light loop in the back) but it seems I'm not visible from the sides at times. I've started wrapping a reflective band around each arm at the elbow but <infinite dork>does anyone know any velcro bands that also light up?</infinite dork> I really like not having to worry about my stuff getting ripped off when I'm not on the bike, but I don't want some assride side-swiping me either.
PS. Ho-ly **** was last night's ride home intense. Between the wind and the power outtage and the cold I was REALLY glad to just make it home in one piece. Riding down Queen street with only my front light to light the way was surreal. Oh, bonus points to the idiot peds who thought they'd casually saunter across the street - in the middle of a complete black-out ... while wearing black. Nice, dude(s). |

hahahahaha man peeps were bad driving the whole blackout section....I scraped an aston (proudly) as he tried to sandwich me between him and a van...then he opened his window and tried to have words...I told him he was driving in the bike lane and by trying to cut back in to the car lane almost killed me...he started cussing...I told him roll up his window or hes gonna get killed (by me) window went up right quick ;)
