Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Did they apologize when they were done? That sounds like they need to apologize.

Sort of. He mentions the “pinch” when he injects me and I’m ripping off the arms of the chair. “All done!” He always says that I was a good boy or something like that. Never got a lollipop, though.

This podcast drawn out way longer than it needed to be, but it has some interesting general audience information on eyes.

Would you prefer, "I'm very concerned about how much this is going to hurt you, so bite down hard on this wad of cloth, grip the arms of the chair, and I'll try to be as fast as I can?"

I verified it's not seatpost/saddle rails as it creaks while standing. It seems to always creak when left pedal is at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Pretty sure it's NOT cleat/shoe as I lubed/tightened this. Already verified it's not the chainring bolts which are nice and tight.

So I am concerned that it is either the crankarm fixing bolts or the BB/BB shell itself. Which is frustrating...

Time for true confessions from an idiot mechanic. The installation of my crank/BB was slightly messed up in two ways:

First, for the BB shell it turns out that the BB tool/adaptor I have from previous Shimano BB does not work because apparently Shimano keeps changing their BB size and/or spline pattern every few years, so I admit I tightened the shell with a (gasp) channel lock. I don't really want to ruin the BB so if I want to address the BB threads I have to get a new tool. I am willing to do so (and will likely go shopping online later today) but I can't really address that yet.

Second, when I installed the crank, the crankarm fixing bolts got rounded. I don't know if Shimano spec'd softer metal on there or if my Park Tool socket/5mm hex is crap, or both. I used the Park Tool 5mm hex along with the PT torque wrench to get it to spec (I think it's 20Nm but whatever) and as it was approaching spec the bolt head rounded. It happened on BOTH of them. So I believe they are secure and at spec, but NFW I can get them out.

I suppose I will have to try to extricate those bolts using a torx wrench or go to Home Depot to buy a bolt extractor.

Before I resort to the above, I did a hail-Mary maneuver and put some chain lube on the crank bolts and in between them on the NDS to see if that helps. But I am not optimistic.

So that's my sad idiot mechanic story. My mechanic is not quite as bad as Larry's, but he has his moments.
Sounds like you've checked everything else. I had a bike with a "bottom bracket creak", and it turned out to be a loose headset with the noise carrying through the frame.

Is this what I should expect for my first colonoscopy?

Colonoscopy is cake.

Prostrate exam is where they really stick it to you.

I am aware it could be something else, but this time it really does sound like the crank bolt or BB. Stay tuned. I have to get it fixed, my friends are starting to lose their patience with me.
