Melbournians, is there going to be a spot for anyone to catch the road race on the 26th?
the Punt Road climb will be nice, that will hurt after 10 laps. That is close to 15% I think in the steepest. It would be nice if the organisers put a Belgian beer garden in the tan, and Peiper can sett up a stall with frites mayo, and 10 day old mussels thant have salmonella breeding better than rabbits.

I'm in.
Can some clever person please post a map of the actual course?? Is it the same as the nationals from about 5 years ago?
Oh yeah....a small cup of garlic snails and a smoked eel roll from the van, thanks.

You blokes must have been asleep last week!
There are spots where you can see the race a few times per lap. Dad's mate lives nearby the circuit, so we'll probably have a night on the piss, crash, then stagger up the next morning.
Last time I remember the Aussie champs being there was in 1995 when McEwen beat Stephens, Serrano and Diaz-Zabala

A living nightmare, I would presume.
Forgot to tell you.....that new Craigieburn bypass completley stumped me last week coming back from Yarrawonga. Was trying to get back to Mickleham Rd to go right to Sunbury, was funnelled off towards Broady!!
Nice road tough.

Kalkallo. Isn't that where all the serial killers stop to get fuel on the way out of Melbourne?

Good time by Jamieson! Shame Phil couldn't replicate his recent 4:29 form to be in the hunt for a ride off. How's Dale going?

No way....I'm sure that year they went out over the Westgate to the You Yangs etc.....was a really hot day. I'm sure Robbie put the front group into the hurt box on the way back over the bridge. Unless I'm having a brain fade?

One morning on the Hell Ride, we were coming back through Frankston and someoen had been capped outside the 21st Century.....you could see the sheet over the body and everything.
Lovely.
