Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

i dunno, i guess im just a fan of old style multi track! but im certianly not saying that everything recorded to disk is ****, obviously it isnt! the transplants album ausnted cities is great, one of my current faves and was obviously done on pro tools with loops etc.

Thanks for the HD tips Royale.

I have dealt with batteryspace a coupla times and they are an excellent mob to deal with. Doesn't matter whether you spend $10 or $10000, they are just happy to keep you happy. Good source for lithium cells and paraphernalia too.

Bikes: Wilier, Alchemy, Merida MTB,

Size 43 would have been nice too.

Off to the 'G' tonight to watch the round ball game. Better head of and stock up on flares i suppose. Anyone know where can I pick up a Turkish flag for cheap on the way? I'm sure I'd be really popular!

Theres plenty of kids in the city with flags. Just nab one as you ride past!

You guys looking at the torpedo7 site for shoes?

chainreactioncycles also has pretty good deals on sidi shoes.

John Kennedy. A bit epxensive, even for cash, but I want them NOW coz I'm not doing one more ride with slightly wobbly feet. Even the teeeniest bit of movement sometimes drives me nuts. When I'm just rolling around on an easy day, loose shoes don't bother me at all -- in fact, sometimes I barely do them up -- but doing hard stuff with any foot movement is 'painful'. Man, sometimes I miss my toe-clips. I'm thinking of stitching a 2nd ratchet to my other pair of Sidis because some days the velcro just doesn't cut it.

Hi zabba,

yeah should be good for a giggle. Did I hear right that the Greeks want to 'avenge theior failure to qualify'?

I think you heard right! With such a large Greek population in Melbourne (160,000+) it should be very interesting.

First ride back after the Horace Mash was interestin.

80kays of hills and undulations to smack the legs back into shape. No strength or rhythm for the first 60km. It seemed to drag on and on, it was Norfolk & Gould. Every little rise was starting to feel like I had sea anchors on. Then Oliver Sutton everything clicked in and I was cruising along as if I'd never been out of the saddle. Most excellent fun.

However, my quads are now claiming that they are the boss of me!

On the plus side the missus brought home some yummy beers to drink. Spose I shouldn't disappoint her

Your not so good with techology are you. That why you work for HP

Go here: https://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.p...postcount=6250

I don't have a gimpy wing. I have two gimpy wings (now) that cancel each other out and actually make me more aerodynamic (ie. they slope more downward that they used to)

Pinkie doesn't like rough tar and throw road surfaces, but it's gonna hafta get used to it.
