Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've got the Cosmics. If you're planning on spending that sort of coin & are looking at Deep dish, I'd be going for the Zip 404's. I only use the cosmics for TT's & flat road races or the occaisional crit that doesn't require jumping out of corners. The Cosmics are probably to heavy for everyday race use

you can't go wrong with the ksyrium's. If I was in the market for some new ones, I'd be going with the ES special edition. Can be had from PBK for around $1100AUD

TDF is underway, first MT rubbush out of the way, and now SBS is covering LAST YEARS final stage?!??!!! WTF?? Have they been infected by the programming mentality of 7, 9, & 10? Do they think they can score browny points for not showing it last year by showing it this year instead of showing the first stage?

For anyone interested there are 50 riders home, GRABSCH leads with 8:31.9 (~50kmh).

I know! I guess it's for the non-cycling fans

Speaking of "MT" and the "fancy accent SBS boys", there was a beauty from Andrew Orsati last night. He couldn't just say "Hambourg" like the rest of us, which is "Hamberg"; oh no, he had to say "Hambor-erg", with a bit of an accent! Height of pretension!! Tosser!!

Almost as bad as Tomalaris pronouncing "Merckx" as "Mee-airkxs", with a Western Euro accent!!
Crikey!!

Zipp 404's all the way. I can get them for about 2k, for the record. If you're after a custom frame existence, you really should give me a bell. Have a new carbon/ti monster in the pipeline that you may find interesting, and most parts I can get for under AU wholeslale, so buying parts like that in dribs and drabs is only costing you money.

Have you got fitted up and all that yet?

I considered a wax, but too many chicks warned me off the pain. Also you basically have to get naked for the waxer person to get into the nooks and crannies.

Feels funny though!!

Even worse, you will keep doing it. Hubby decided to do it "just once, to see what it feels like" and now I have to hide my razors to save them from being blunted.

I think it is my duty as a fellow female to warn your wife of this potential threat to her razor supply - does she have an email address?

Go Thor! Go the OV riders!

I'll take the mountains points on my new lightweight plastic bike for Team TAT. I will need to swap out the 23 on the back though.

Yellow pedals look stoopid on a red and white bike
