We can see examples even here in the BikeForumsosphere.
One might look at your post count and compare it to mine (soon to hit an impressive 2,000, by the way) and conclude that you must be a better poster. Of course those statistics are belied when readers compare the quality of my next post with the quality of yours.
So it goes.

It especially isn't in the fickle tech world. Behold upstarts like Twitter coming out of nowhere.

I just did a good 32 mile training ride. I feel like it was my first really hard, extended, training ride. A few times I felt like I was going to throw up, it was good. Everything just went right.
I think I must be getting somewhere - I had someone latch on without asking. I kept waving to him to get off, and he wouldn't. So I dropped the hammer. I lost him for a bit, but he came back.
If you're reading this, you were in blue/white, and I was wearing a Salsa jersey (red) on a blue Giant. Don't do it again.

I was really going at about 26 mph during the last 3 mile stretch. I looked back and this guy was about 3-6 inches off my wheel.

We need more homage to the Scott Addict, the wonderful bicycle that this thread was named for.
Those Cervelos are nice, but they're no Scott.

Pcadette's iPad is here. It totally, utterly ROCKS. The external keypad dock accessory makes it much more versatile, transforming it from a hand held pad into a pseudo laptop (with a touchscreen interface) whenever you want it.

But it's no Scott.

I've since changed the tape to regular Fizik Microtex (as opposed to the soft touch that gets grungy like normal white tape), put an R700 crankset on, and tweaked the fit a little bit more.
Also, you're an inch off - I'm 5'3" without shoes.

But what about me - who spends more time on the roadie than the mountain bike, but try to get to the trails every 1-2 weeks, and is racing (xc) in july?
