I have nothing to say, but I want to reach the 700 posts mark.
This seems like the right place to do it.

Fun, good, and strange ride today. Biked down to the metro to meet a friend, was denied access with bike because it was 4:01. You can't after 4. I just then biked to another metro stop, and got on there. My friend went on no hassle at a stop at the end of the line, so all was good.
Then we get to our destination: L'enfant plaza. Lots of POW-MIA guys out there, it was cool. We gave them thumbs up and got some waves/honks.
Then we moved on and biked to Chinatown looking for Chipotle. Feel free to laugh, but I wanted Chipotle, and there is one in Chinatown. We hear preaching (kind of) coming from somewhere near by. The huge crowd? Sure enough.
This picture speaks for itself:

Well not really. They're basically "Jewish" extremely right wing, anti gay marriage/abortion, racist, "Jews". Note the quotations. It was weird, so then we went on to Chipotle, where a guy attempted to steal my bike. We walked out to see him guessing combinations.
You can kind of see it; there was a sign out there for anti abortion, with really nasty photos of recently aborted babies. They had such a crowd. We left when they said that they were against marriage to a "cracker".
I rode my mountain bike, so we just rode really fast around much of DC flying by tourists and being some ourselves. It was a great day.

In other news: I went for a 30 mile solo ride earlier...heading out I felt great, averaged 25.3 including stop signs (I know BF's love for averages), but on the way back I realized that I had a little help from the wind earlier and now it was suffer-fest time...

Meanwhile the operators and associated personnel have just been given the order for 6 day work weeks for the month of June with 7 days for a specifically busy line to keep up with customer orders. (though this isn't very indicative of the economy because we make medicine, the jobs and hours are certainly helping those who work here. 5 months ago you could ask for as much time off without pay as you wanted)

So I also love Chipotle, but last weekend went to Qdoba (no "u" I hate it) then today went to Panchero's.
They are all basically the same clone, but with small differences. WHich ones do the views of this thread liek the best?
Phanceros
pros:
makes their own soft shells on the spot they basically have mini dough balls and have a smashing machine
cheese sause
TV in store
mixes you stuff for homogeneous burrito
cons:
Hot sauce is not very hot and doen't taste very good
Blue corn chips (I like regular)
small portions
Qdoba:
Pros:
Cheese sauce
quantity
TV in store
cons:
non homogeneous mixed burritos
Chipotle:
Pros:
large portions
love the hot sauce
Cons:
popular/ busy
none homogeneous burritos
any other opinions?
