Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey Pcad,

How's the music going?

Specifically:

--When are you posting a demo song?

and

--Are you looking for an agent?

I've got some music contacts here in Tennessee who may have some music contacts in Nashville.

Pcad can write a soulful ballad about how his glory days as a Fred are behind him.

Country music and roadies? I thought hard-core roadies only rocked hard-core metal.

MTB crashes sat a little sore

ride sunday

built deck sunday night and monday all day Hamstrings and all over very sore

Tried out my aero bars yesterday for the first time ever, 19.9 mph over 17 miles pretty good wind. I was impressed with the pace considering the wind

group ride today, crushed (not too badly finished with the first group, 3rd on a mini sprint, but dropped off the lead group at one point and had to solo up)...average HR 160 bpm and 21.8 mph, but the first half of the ride is a warm up and I ride to and from the ride... it all catches up to you

Tomorrow I will rest or run or something. I am done with bikes for at least 24 hours.

I like the warmer weather.

Long TT bike intervals tomorrow. 50 mile tempo ride Friday. 40-80 miles Saturday. TT on Sunday.

So it goes.

blechhhh. I like the 50's and 60's better than the mid-80's. Especially with Ohio's humidity.

It's never too hot for me. Rode 80 miles through the big mountains in Greece two summers ago on a 97º day, didn't finish until 3PM, the hottest part of the afternoon. I liked it
