Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Given the high probability that doing anything meaningful or productive may be above your pay grade, no.

That was not my intent, but my own sophistication and class is a perpetual hindrance.

Had I seen that stupid Jaws movie before I shared the Mediterranean water in Greece with an 8' sand shark in 1973, I'm sure I would have panicked and caused the stupid fish to eat me.

In '73 you were probably 120lbs, half of that bone. Sharks know what's worth eating. Now, if you were to do that again at this point in time...

I'm at 5.5 weeks post my c-bone thing and the first ITT of the season is coming this weekend. Shoulder feels fine, but I have spent about 45 minutes on my TT bike in the last month...

Would it be wussy to take a pass and just do the usual Saturday group thing instead (which will be slow since so many will be at the TT)?... yes it would.

own question answered.... carry on.

You know, if I lived within a block or two of this I might be concerned.

I rode the "new" carbon Trek MTB home from work tonight. It rides great - nothing like a high quality full suspension.

On the other hand, it's ticking like a lock. (no pun intended)

It sounds like.. a loud, very loud, clock ticking. And it may be reaching the end of it's (its?) time. Opinions?

its. If you can't replace it with "it is" or "it has" then it is "its".

That's not most likely at all, actually.

15 year old carbon, there's lots of bigger worries than the BB.
