Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If you had any before you moved here, the hills would cause you to quickly gnash them out.

Bikes: Something Canadian, something Italian, something American, and something German

So I've decided on my next build.

Surly cross check which will be raced. Black frame with bright green tape/housing/seat if I can find one.

Going to be bad ass like no other.

Sorry, don't get the joke.

And that's true about the other green bits, but I'm trying to keep it on a budget. I'll pass on the $40 collar

I plan to have ultegra or 105 derailleurs, bar end shifters, and either Deep Vs or CXP22s for wheels. I can't wait till cross season.

No pics for you.

But there were three guys in that crash. The Team Organic guy in front of me (seems he caused it) broke his collarbone. Dr. Bob (behind me) broke two ribs. I broke my head.

I don't need that for BF anyway.
