Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Now you know how the 33 feels about the 41. They just want to exterminate us and plunder our Schwag.

You know all of that means squat at this stage of the season right? I know I'm raining on your parade but I'll give you an umbrella: enjoy the winning streak.

Hey, compared to how the Mets played the first half of April, we'll take it.

The soundtrack for the closing scene makes for great climbing music.

I loved this movie so much I bought it on DVD, something I rarely do.

sir pcad,

if it makes you feel better, feel free to rip the philadelphia eagles. after all, we are the guys who sit up front for most of the race only to get dropped in the sprint...

while i don't think mcnabb was a great passer (he belongs in the HOVG, the hall of very good), i think the idiotic philly fans who wanted to boot him out will be crying to sleep this upcoming year

oh, just to rub it in, who finished first in the NL east for the past two years?

"Promontory" by Trevor Jones, if you wanted to download it.

At least you addressed me as 'sir Pcad', so you get ass kissing points for that.

Yeah, that movie rocked, really took you back to the early 18th century, except with A List movie stars instead of the ugly people who actually were the historical figures. Who wants to look at them anyway? I'd rather look at M. Stowe. And NC was rather convincing as upstate NY.

You mean the combo of toothless Yankee villagers and pastey Englishmen/women doesn't work for you?

Mzeffex, the thing to remember is that if your current boss gets mad because you are going to a better job, it's ok, because by the time he gets mad, he will have just become your ex-boss (subject to two weeks notice of-course). Just don't burn the bridge and you will be fine. Bosses don't like when employees quit, and employees don't like getting fired, yelled at or laid off either, but each accepts that the other will or may happen.

Good luck!

Oh, you went there?

Still bitter after all these months?

You know that back-to-back whuppin' was payback for the final game of the previous season, right?
