Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey, at least they don't have one killer tornado after another in the UK like they do in TN. Is that due to the lack of high intensity thunderstorms in England or the paucity of trailer parks?

I'm not an expert on tornado formation but I think it requires warm air, which would limit tornado production in U.K. to one or two weeks a year.

However, if the volcano keeps erupting maybe it will add an extra week to tornado season.

I did not know that, and what's more, I do not believe you. However I have learned to never doubt Grumpy, he is consistently and disturbingly....

Correct.

Bikes: Have two wheels

No tornados here. Nice clear day. Burgers and dogs on the Weber. Then a hilly loop on the bike. Hell, from my house, they are all hilly loops.

Very nice. I like how one section of the deck is red and the other natural. Combine that with the grill and nice view and that looks like one sweet place to have a BBQ.

Pcad, Here are some pictures of yours truly during the race today. How did Alan do?

Souls shining in the sun

My fat ass

Feel free to critique my position. The bike is only 2 weeks old and I am still fine tuning:

Turning (I am finally getting decent at cornering at speed)

Me thinking "If the 4/5s are supposed to be beginers why does everyone else have a team"

Gaining position on the hill (what a silly fat man I am)

Coming around

Holy crap I didn't want to be this far foward

packish finish (a guy crashed in front of my final 200m and beign a 5 my place is meaningless so I may have been a second or 2 back)
