Bored and tired. I don't get a weekend. Working at old shop tomorrow, new shop sunday. It's fun (kind of) but also really tiring. I got sun/mon off before, now I'll get fri/sat off. Don't know what's better, probably the new one.

So you expect the manufacturer to give you a similar replacement helmet at approximately 30% cost? That's nuts.

That reminds me - did you do your own taxes, or did you pay to have someone else do it for you? I've been doing a lot more IT work and I really should get legal about this whole thing.

Are you doing this work freelance? If so, you should have someone do your taxes - it'll pay off. Start keeping copies of expenses - hardware, software, trade magazine subscriptions, travel... everything - let the accountant sort out what can be written off and what can't.

Yeah, sounds good. The last thing I need is to have the IRS coming after me...

Some guy in a Westwood jersey was chasing me up Gate Hill Road near the end of my ride today. I put my head down after the steep part and rode a pretty good tempo up the considerably mellower top half of the climb. Never saw him again. Really did feel surprisingly good on the hills today. Good sign.

Hey pcad, do you know if any of your team is down in the DC area for whatever reason? Specifically Alexandria, VA? I swear I saw a guy in your kit ride by, he was on a white bike. Didn't catch the brand.
