Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just don't see many pink and blue kits. Same layout of it as well.

How Gay are our helmets? I purchased a replacement (after my recent crash). Giro ships it as a women's helmet in a pink box. I don't care, I like the color combo. I am secure in my masculinity, such as it is.

Keep the 820 and go off road. as long as you don't do huge drops it will work out (heck at your weight it might not matter.)

I once won a backpacking snow shovel.

That sure came in handy.

On the Internets. Or, if it's a soccer commercial, nowhere.

An article in yesterday's WSJ ascribes human societal and technological advances to socialization. One might think that BF could do that for cycling.

OK, maybe not.

I saw on the news that a 13-year-old climbed Mt. Everest.

And you all whine about riding bikes up your pitiful little hills.

I would expect to be able to climb everest. I do not expect to be able to climb 15% at 20 mph. One is a accomplishment, and one is a performance benchmark set by basically no one since it is faster than the pros.

Did you see photos of that bullfighter who got gored in the neck up through the mouth?

And you though you had mouth problems. . . . .

Pictures here.

Warning: very nasty.

Why we still have bullfighting in the 21st century is a mystery to me.

my wife was worried about the guy until I let her know what the outcome of a bullfight is. She is now on the side of the bull.
