How fast does the B group go? Maybe we need to form an A- group.

I was 5 then, and not in kiddiegarten yet, so I had plenty of time to observe my parents reactions at the time. Of course I didn't understand their reaction or the impact of a president being killed in that way. I just remember the adults (my parents, their friends plus an aunt or uncle) glued to the TV for several days. The funeral procession I remember clearly, and it was at that point I realized the seriousness. Probably the sight of the flag draped casket being rolled down the street in a horse drawn wagon.

As soon as that whole mishigosh was over, it was back to obsessing over cartoons. And then the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show a few months later and all was back to normal.

B group averages about 20mph I think. However, they'll still drop you. I wish we could form an A- group, but there's never more than ten people for the B group... and half of them drop off eventually.

At first I was like maybe I can catch back up to the A group at a stop sign. About two miles later I decided I'd take it easy until the B group catches up. Weird thing is that I saw about five other guys who got dropped off and turned around. I don't know if they were heading back to CBC, but I didn't see any of them on the B ride.
