Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hell. That could get you on the sex offenders list now a days in some nanny-pants counties.

It would have been a better cycling story if you were in full kit. How could the cop see you "exposing yourself" if you were behind a tree. Cops are stupid.

I am souped up on goofballs and endorphins. Hung with the pack-o-Nazi's all the way around tonight and actually had something left for the sprint... I was first loser.

Ok the 6 or 7 super Nazi's (Gestapo?) went off the front on Rt. 2 and nobody chased, but still.

It was not very funny because a conviction would have indeed landed me on such a list. It was fairly outrageous. I was pretty angry at the time. Fortunately the D.A. saw it our way.

so you're worried about riding once before the century, now you want to ride twice? including the night before riding it? if anything skip the night ride.

Seven slices of Swiss two days before a 100 miler? You should never eat that much Swiss so close to a ride like that.

You're DOOMED.

On the positive side, I bet it would have gotten you out of a lot of carpool duty with the kid and her friends.

I think your powermeter is broken...was it a practice crit (with the laps)? also 77-93*F during a 80 min streach is a heck of a temp range.
