Crashed lap 16 of 20 at 4/5 crit (free lap ended at 15). Solo crash toward the back so I didn't get run over. pedal strike lead to bike sliding out on me. Bike is doing ok. Just did a crappy re-wrap on the right side of the bars to be ready to run tomorrows crit.
Question:
When I got up the wheel was askew of the handlebars. I just put the wheel between my legs and made it straight. IS this ok or do I need to tighten something?
Requested pics:

I will later have pictures of my large self prior to the crash.

it was a hot ride today. i took a few pics too but they are very offensive so it wiil have to be a p&r ride report...The world will come to an end if cycling content leaks into that hole but I'll risk it. If the Manhattan project can do it, so can I.

The fascinating thing to me is that the pros I've met and ridden with, male and female, are considerably less full of themselves than half of the idiots in the 33. I mean, it really is rather astonishing at times. It does make you wonder if they will ever get over themselves and realize that the rest of the world thinks they are a bunch of silly looking bike weenies who would make perfectly good roadkill.
Anyway, steer clear of that place. Whatever Fred stupidity one may encounter over here is really far less aggravating than the rampant arrogance and hubris of the Road Nazi boys. Ooofaaaa.

Shut up and show some respect, pClown.

By the way, that heart rate stuff that was posted yesterday. Is it all kosher? I followed the guidelines for fat burning zone and I'm sure it is wrong. I felt like I was riding a stationary bike. To keep the heart rate so low, and keep my cadence up over 90, i ended up using such low gears i was hardly moving. nearly 4 hours of spinning like an idiot at 13 mph did my head in.

So, I now have a PowerTap wheel and accessories (woo!), EXCEPT the USB download cradle. I'm having a hell of a time finding out what I need. The only model number that I have is on the '2nd bike kit,' it's a 7022P. Guess I'll give'em a call on a weekday unless any of yous has another idea.

These guys on the tour are doing 5 1/2 miles in just over 10 minutes. That's like over 32 mph......
How does the prologue factor into the tour, is it just like an ITT?

it lets them not have ties...they record down to the hundredths I believe, and with the same time rules at the finishes of normal stages if they didn 't have it it would be a mess.
my legs are hairy, my wife won't let me shave them she thinks it will look bad on my.

Oh well. Maybe even more impressive, Armstrong beat Leipheimer. The old man is on form. And Fabian gets to wear Yellow.
I like it. Now I'll watch the video tape.
Easy on the spoilers in this thread, please.

I believe this is exhibit A as to why "pros" shave their legs. The healing won't be pretty, what with the bandaging getting tangled up in that mess and all.
