Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I know, but how long does it take to find out you didn't win. You make it sound instant.

I am not convinced that Cannondale would see it as promoting their product exactly.

Boycott? Was there saccharine in the strychnine? I noticed because I still have a subcription to the abdicated subject but if they'll be no press conference, I'll watch PBS.

Be well.

When it comes to the "classics" you gotta at least go with Schwinn.

A ha! Proof that I'm not fat.

A recreational cyclist friend of mine (not here) made a Facebook comment about riding slow. I offer witty response.

His reply, in part:

"I'm lugging about 50 more lbs than you"

Is that the kind of excuse you would make to another fatty?

Negative. He did some triathlons last year, though he may have put on some poundage since getting married. See, that's another thing I have going in my favor.

If you fools have time to read this stupid thread at work, you have time to watch the TdF at work. I know I do.

I have doubts on Addiction (thread) longevity. I anticipate a catastrophic, high-speed failure.

I try to work at work. Versus has 6-9 coverage after work that gets my undivided attention.
