Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ok, I think his quote sums up the 33 quite well:

"Amateur hour racing today, in so many ways"

This was the 33 critiquing today's stage of the tour.

I imagine on the climbs he synchronizes his pedal revolutions with the beat of the music.

if more cyclists are represented by that than how they like to see themselves, the better. I think most of the would be racer boys think of themselves as

Yes, we're having a race to see who can most quickly be accepted into the 33 family.

How are you doing, IRI?

when we talk about the idiocy in bf, and there is plenty of it, we are including ourselves in it. we are laughing at the idiocy and with each other when we perpetrate an idiocy. it is different from the sneering from on high.

Ok, help me with this.

The guys in the 33 are arguing about if a certain rider in today's stage did the right thing.

First, they say he should have because it would have been the honorable thing to do, would have been classy.

Then they argue that as low life racers themselves, they wouldn't have.

But we all know that as Freds, we would have.

Does that mean we are more honorable and classy?

So, is this a case of how maybe the lbs owner is thinking about starting a team, and is checking you out as the leader?

No one waits for me on the Road Nazi ride. Why should the TdF be any different?

If English is a "living language", this place is a fertility clinic.
