Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pcad, in your expect opinion, if Contador does not beat Andy Schleck by at least 32 seconds in this time trial, how many years will it take before I have to stop hearing about chaingate?

163 miles this week. High of the year. 21.1 mph average, with a recovery ride in there.

whenever i see heckler's exploits i feel a bit competitive because we are of similar weight and weight loss history but for some unfathamable reason he is faster than me.

well...maybe i'm more hardcore than the heckle. have you done an overnight ride, hecky?

hummm, not that I can recall. Last year I commuted early in the morning during the winter and it was darkish.

The race on sunday brought the average up.

My Cat 4 upgrade just got approved. We are now equals pcad.

I hate Contador soooooo bad.

If I was at the TdF I would push him off his bike until Schleck gained back the time he wrongfully lost.

Well that was a disappointing TT, oh well. Good job Contador. He's a strong rider no question.

I was pulling for Andy, but most of these guys are worthy. Gotta give props where props are due.

It's entertainment. The balance is to let it add to your enjoyment, not take away.

This site is a bad influence on me.

I was talking with an old friend about how both one of our common friends and his brother had experienced bouts of depression and significant weight loss when they went through divorce.

"I need to have a divorce," I joked (I'm single).

He didn't seem to appreciated my sophomoric humor.

My scale is cruel. For two days it told me I weighed 155. Today it says 163. I hate you scale.

They are still fat, but just a bit short, which skews the number.

pCad, a bike related question.

What saddle came on the Addict, did you leave it on, and what saddles do you ride?
