depends what bike it's on.

As far as colored chains go, I agree. I've seen only few that look good, mine wasn't one.
My colored cable housings are kinda getting on my nerves too.

I'm very big on function over form, but I gotta like the way my bike looks too. You can have both.
Bikes can be a semi extension of your self, and I noticed the more my bike "fits" me including both components and aesthetics, the more I enjoy it.

like everything but the top tube protector. different color, maybe? different fabric? it looks flat compared to the reset of the bike.

hey, i could've said something like: "i like everything but the frame and the wheels and the cranks. nice grips, though." really puts things into perspective, doesn't it?

el twe 01-16-08 05:39 PM

Nice work. Not a huge TT pad fan, but whatever.

radiator44 01-16-08 05:54 PM

yah im workin on a new TT protector. any ideas for things to add/change? aside from the chain tension of course

barba 01-16-08 05:56 PM

It looks good as is. I would want a brake, but that is just my preference.

radiator44 01-16-08 06:00 PM

it does have brakes...my legs.

radiator44 01-16-08 06:32 PM

barba 01-16-08 06:59 PM

Those Basso frames were pretty cool. Post a better picture if you can.

bward1028 01-16-08 07:01 PM

i will, asap. was more concerned with getting the color right than getting a great pic.

Using helium in your tires is the latest way to shave some weight off your ride.

er, sorry. I'm just so tired of the brakes/brakeless debate at this point. Anything that appears to be brakeless chauvinism and I start hating. my bad.

radiator44 01-16-08 08:36 PM

its all good, let just ride bikes. :D
