Pimp build ceya, Bringin it on monday?
|
How much? I want one.
I think that's really pretty. Ill trade you my Razesa for one. ;) That pursuit frame that is... Nice work. |
Finally got my new digital camera, and I'm able to throw up pictures of my nice (beat up, but still nice) 3Rensho. All six pictures I took are available here.
Found the frame last fall on eBay built already as a single speed with a mishmash of parts... currently running old DA crankset, Sugino 75 carbon pedals, Campy hubs (rear suicide), seatpost, and headset.. Mavic GP4 in the back, and a Sun Mistral 32h with Hoshi blades in the front, both running Gommitalia tubulars. Andrew Muzi at Yellowjersey guesses that it's an '84 based on the serial number. I've got my replacement nutted axle for the rear, but since it's a suicide at this point, you can guess that my amount of skipping/skidding is at a minimum ;) At some point the frame was being used for cyclocross, as evidenced by the black spots with the canti braze-ons. I'd like to have it repainted someday, but for now it's just sweet to ride, and she's mine. http://boxwood.subtle.org/se/albums/.../3rensho01.jpg http://boxwood.subtle.org/se/albums/.../3rensho02.jpg http://boxwood.subtle.org/se/albums/.../3rensho04.jpg |

cosmo starr, Doing before and after photos is really awesome. I love the white frame -- simplicity and all. I posted my old single speed and am seeking suggestions for a color. It's on the previous page I think. Can you please tell me what you used to prime and paint your trek? Any advice is appreciated. I think your finished product is beautiful. Joe

Another option is shops that do motorcycle/auto chroming. Definitely less money than cyclart, but probbably not the same quality. |
That seat's got quite the gangsta lean.

I think the guy who's the high bidder on that one is the guy who bought Mikorps pink Phils for $700...
